China to meet with the Philippine Embassy personnel opposed to the Huangyan Island to submit questions of international arbitration

Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry edge of the sea Secretary Deng Zhonghua, 28, met with CAI Fu Chiung, charge d’affaires of the Philippine Embassy in China, the Philippine side to territorial sovereignty over Huangyan Island submitted to international arbitration to the Philippines made solemn representations.
Deng Zhonghua pointed out that Huangyan Island is China’s inherent territory, there is no legal basis for the submission of international arbitration. If a State the territory of another State any submitted to international arbitration, not only contrary to the basic norms of modern international relations and the current international order will cause significant damage. The Chinese side urges the Philippine side to earnestly respect China’s territorial sovereignty, not to take any action matters expansion, complicate, and persist through diplomatic channels to resolve differences and restore peace and tranquility of the Huangyan Island.
